Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer with strong experience in performance testing methodologies, JMeter scripting, test execution, analysis, and Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) gathering. The candidate will be responsible for designing and executing performance tests for the Hyundai Capital Dealer Portal, identifying performance bottlenecks, and providing recommendations to ensure system scalability, reliability, and optimal user experience.Key ResponsibilitiesPerformance Test ScriptingDevelop and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.Simulate real-world dealer portal user workflows and business transactions.Create reusable and scalable test frameworks.Parameterize, correlate, and enhance scripts to accurately emulate production user behavior.Performance Test ExecutionPlan and execute various performance test types, including:Load TestingStress TestingSpike TestingSoak/Endurance TestingVolume TestingMonitor application and infrastructure performance during test execution.Validate system stability, scalability, and responsiveness under varying workloads.Performance Analysis & ReportingAnalyze performance test results and identify application, database, middleware, and infrastructure bottlenecks.Correlate findings using logs and monitoring tools.Provide actionable recommendations to development and infrastructure teams.Prepare detailed performance test reports and stakeholder presentations.Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) ManagementEngage with business and technical stakeholders to gather and define performance-related NFRs.Translate business expectations into measurable performance targets such as:Response TimeThroughputConcurrent UsersResource UtilizationAvailability and ReliabilityEnsure test scenarios align with NFR objectives and production usage patterns.Required SkillsStrong hands-on experience in Apache JMeter.Experience in creating performance test strategies, plans, and execution reports.Strong understanding of:Load, Stress, Spike, and Soak Testing methodologiesPerformance engineering conceptsWorkload modelingCapacity planning fundamentalsExperience in analyzing performance bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure layers.Good understanding of web technologies, APIs, and microservices architectures.Experience in NFR gathering and validation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
