Senior Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Test Management

Define and implement overall test strategy, test plans, and test execution approach.

Lead and manage testing activities across multiple releases and projects.

Coordinate with Business Analysts, Development Teams, Product Owners, and Client Stakeholders.

Ensure test deliverables are completed within timeline and quality expectations.

Manage test estimation, resource planning, risk assessment, and reporting.

Sapiens IDIT TestingValidate business processes and workflows within the Sapiens IDIT Insurance platform.

Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for insurance applications.

Review business requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.

Ensure accuracy of policy administration processes including underwriting, policy lifecycle management, renewals, endorsements, and claims integrations.

Insurance Domain Testing

Understand and validate insurance business processes.

Work closely with business teams to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met.

Validate insurance products, coverage rules, rating logic, and premium calculations.

Support UAT activities and business acceptance testing.

Defect ManagementManage complete defect lifecycle using JIRA.

Track, prioritize, assign, and monitor defect resolution.

Conduct defect triage meetings with development and business teams.

Analyze defect trends and provide quality insights to stakeholders.

Test Management Tools

Create and maintain test repositories using XRAY.

Design and execute test cases, test cycles, and traceability matrices.

Generate dashboards, test execution reports, and release quality metrics.

Maintain requirement-to-test-case traceability.

Reporting & GovernanceProvide regular status updates, test progress reports, and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Identify project risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes and methodologies.

Mandatory SkillsFunctional Skills

Hands-on experience with Sapiens IDIT Platform.

Strong understanding of Insurance Domain (Property & Casualty, Life Insurance, or General Insurance).

Experience in end-to-end Insurance application testing.

Strong Test Management experience.

Tool Expertise:

JIRA – Defect Management and Agile Tracking.

XRAY – Test Management and Test Execution.
