Job Description – Automation Test Engineer (Tricentis TOSCA)RoleAutomation Test Engineer – Tricentis TOSCAExperience5–8 yearsLocationIndia (Offshore) – Supporting UK ClientProjectHiscox – Insurance DomainRole SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Tricentis TOSCA to support a strategic automation program for Hiscox. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation solutions using TOSCA and be capable of working in an Agile delivery environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis TOSCA.Create reusable automation components and optimize automation frameworks.Automate functional, regression, API, and end-to-end business scenarios.Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to design effective automated test cases.Execute automated test suites and analyze execution results.Log, track, and support defect resolution using defect management tools.Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.Support CI/CD integration of TOSCA automation where applicable.Contribute to automation best practices, standards, and continuous process improvements.Mentor junior automation engineers when required.Mandatory SkillsStrong hands-on experience with Tricentis TOSCA Automation Suite.Experience in automation of Web applications.Good understanding of API testing and integration testing.Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred SkillsInsurance domain experience (preferred).Experience with SQL and database validation.Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.Mandatory CertificationsCandidates must possess all of the following Tricentis certifications:Automation Specialist Level 1 (AS1)Automation Specialist Level 2 (AS2)Test Design Specialist Level 1 (TDS1)Profiles without the above certifications will not be considered.Educational QualificationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.Key CompetenciesStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Excellent collaboration and communication skills.Quality-focused with a continuous improvement mindset.Ability to ramp up quickly and support client delivery in a fast-paced environment.
