Whitebox/Automation QE - Adobe AnimateWhat You’ll Do•Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for cross-platform desktop applications, ensuring comprehensive coverage across unit, regression, integration, performance, and memory test suites.•Develop and maintain unit tests for core Adobe Animate components, ensuring high code coverage and early defect detection.•Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and test plans for features and enhancements in Adobe Animate.•Perform cross-platform testing for desktop applications across Windows and macOS environments.•Validate complex animation, graphics, and rendering workflows to ensure product quality and reliability.•Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UX designers to identify quality risks early in the development cycle.•Analyze product behavior, identify defects, and perform detailed root cause analysis.•Contribute to improving overall test processes, tools, and quality engineering practices.•Participate actively in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, test planning, and release validation.•Ensure adherence to software development and standard testing procedures throughout the development lifecycle.What You Need to Succeed•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent domain experience.•5+ years of whitebox testing with a proven expertise in developing unit tests and building scalable automation frameworks for cross-platform desktop applications.•Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, HTML/JavaScript or similar•Hands-on experience with C++ unit testing frameworks like Google Test/gTest, gMock, Catch2 etc and desktop automation frameworks•Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals, including unit, integration, regression, performance, and memory testing•Experience integrating unit tests and automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous validation.•Familiarity with code coverage tools, performance profiling, memory analysis, and debugging tools.Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills•Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment•Excellent communication skills with a focus on quality advocacy and continuous improvementWhat Makes You Stand Out•Experience testing creative tools, graphics applications, or media software.•Familiarity with performance testing, debugging tools, and log analysis.•Experience validating complex user workflows and UI interactions in desktop applications.•Ability to work effectively in large, collaborative engineering environments.Must Haves:C++ - 4/5Desktop Automation - 4/5Whitebox Testing - 4/5
