Must haves:CMS testing (AEM preferable) - 4/5Playwright/JS - 3.5/5Being hands-on & Team Leading - 4.5/5ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end quality engineering activities across manual and automated testing, ensuring quality and release readiness across mutiple scrum teams, while delivering tasks hand-on.Own test planning, estimation, execution, and reporting for assigned applications/features across the SDLC.Review, author, and maintain test cases and test suites in TestRail, ensuring appropriate coverage and traceability.Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automation solutions using Playwright/JavaScript and Selenium/Java.Drive automation strategy and identify opportunities to improve test coverage, execution efficiency, maintainability, and reliability.Integrate and manage automated tests with BrowserStack, Harness, and CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.Review automation code and test cases for quality, maintainability, reusability, and adherence to framework standards.Analyze test results, identify trends and risks, and work with development teams to resolve critical issues.Lead defect management activities in JIRA, including defect triage, prioritization, root-cause discussions, and closure.Provide technical guidance and mentoring to QA engineers and support team members in automation, testing practices, and framework usage.Identify and address automation instability, flaky tests, framework issues, and CI/CD execution failures.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including adoption of AI-assisted testing and automation to improve QA productivity and quality.Track and report key quality, automation, and delivery metrics to stakeholders and provide recommendations for improvement.Requirements & Mandatory Skills7+ years of experience in software testing, with strong hands-on automation experience and prior experience in a technical lead role.Strong experience in Selenium/Java and Playwright/JavaScript automation.Experience designing, enhancing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.Strong understanding of API, web, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.Hands-on experience integrating automation with Browser Stack, Harness, and CI/CD pipelines.Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern QA practices.Experience with TestRail or similar test management tools and JIRA.Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web application architecture.Experience in automation code reviews, debugging, framework optimization, and resolving flaky test issues.Exposure to AI-assisted testing, test case generation, automation script generation, or AI-based QA solutions is an advantage.Familiarity with Enterprise Content Management or related content-driven applications is preferred.Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.Ability to lead a QA team while remaining hands-on with automation and technical challenges.Strong client-facing skills with the ability to communicate technical issues, risks, recommendations, and delivery status effectively.
