Qualitest is looking for Test Automation Engineer (AI capable)

The AI Assisted Automation Test Engineer is responsible for executing the day-to-day testing activities to ensure software applications meet functional requirements and quality standards.

The role involves creating automation test cases using AI assisted tools like GitHub Copilot, identifying defects, and contributing to the automation suite using Playwright and Postman.

Working within an Agile team, the AI Assisted Automation Test Engineer ensures that every release is stable and user-friendly by leveraging Jira and Azure Dev Ops for meticulous test management and documentation in Confluence/Azure Wiki.

Essential DutiesDesign and implement scalable, maintainable testing frameworks utilizing AI agents for high-fidelity, enterprise-grade testing.

Architect prompt-driven testing systems that abstract complex test logic into composable, reusable workflows.

Establish integration patterns for UI, REST APIs, webhooks, and custom tools with AI agents to achieve deterministic, high-signal testing.

Author and evolve prompt libraries and templates that encode testing best practices for consistency and rapid iteration.

Develop reusable prompt modules for common enterprise scenarios: authentication, role-based access, data validation, multi-environment, and complex transactions.

Create evaluation harnesses to measure prompt quality: consistency, defect detection rate, and agent reliability metrics.

Implement version control, testing, and deployment pipelines for prompts, treating them as first-class code artifacts.

Design and execute end-to-end test workflows for complex enterprise features, including integrations, multi-step configurations, and role-based access.

Qualifications:

5-10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.

Technical / Domain Specific / Functional Experience and Knowledge

Experience in Insurance or Financial Services.

Expert knowledge of automation tools (Playwright and Postman).

Expert in tools like Jira and Azure Devops.

Understanding of Agile/Scrum development cycles.

Good experience in API/Back-end TestingProgramming Knowledge: JavaScript, Typescript.
