We are looking for a talented, hands-on Mobile SDET to join our growing engineering team in Mexico. In this role, you will help drive our quality engineering strategy by building robust automation frameworks, improving test coverage, and enabling fast, reliable software delivery.

 

Location : Mexico – Remote

 

Position Overview

As a Mobile SDET, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing solutions across mobile applications, APIs, and backend services. You will work closely with developers, product owners, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable mobile test automation frameworks using industry-standard mobile testing tools and frameworks.
  • Build, execute, and maintain automated mobile functional and integration tests.
  • Develop comprehensive test cases and validate application functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines, leveraging AWS to enable continuous testing and faster, more reliable releases.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, DevOps, and other Agile team members to define acceptance criteria, test strategies, and quality objectives.
  • Perform full-stack testing across mobile front-end applications, APIs, backend services, and integrations.
  • Create and maintain test data, test environments, and mock services within AWS/cloud-based environments.
  • Analyze test failures and defects, troubleshoot root causes, and provide actionable recommendations to improve product quality.
  • Champion shift-left testing practices by participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, design discussions, and early requirements reviews.
  • Continuously improve automation frameworks, tools, and processes to increase test coverage, execution efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.

 

Must-Have Skills

  • Mobile Testing Expertise – strong experience with mobile application testing and automation.
  • Cypress – hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test suites.
  • CI/CD – strong experience integrating automated testing into continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
