23364 - Purview specialist

We are seeking an experienced M365 Compliance & Purview Specialist to support the activation and operationalization of Microsoft Purview capabilities across the enterprise.

This role serves as the primary Microsoft 365 Purview subject matter expert within the Digital Workforce COE, working closely with Legal, Privacy, Cyber Security, Information Security, Records Management, Risk, Compliance, and IT stakeholders to understand business and regulatory requirements and assess how Microsoft Purview capabilities can support those needs.The specialist will help translate requirements into implementation plans, coordinate across delivery teams, and support the deployment, adoption, and ongoing optimization of Purview capabilities. The role works closely with Security Operations, M365 Operations, Infrastructure, and other ITOA teams that are responsible for technical implementation, operations, and platform support.

This is a full-time hybrid position based in Tel Aviv, with two days per week in the office.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Legal, Cyber Security, Information Security, Privacy, Compliance, Records Management, Risk, and IT stakeholders to understand governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze business requirements and identify appropriate Microsoft Purview capabilities to address organizational needs.
• Translate business requirements into functional and operational requirements for implementation teams.
• Support the implementation, adoption, and optimization of Microsoft Purview solutions across the organization.
• Collaborate with Security Operations, M365 Operations, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Coordinate implementation activities, monitor project progress, dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Support testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment readiness, and rollout activities.
• Evaluate new Microsoft Purview features and recommend adoption based on business value and compliance requirements.
• Support information protection and compliance initiatives, including:Data Loss Prevention (DLP)Sensitivity LabelsRecords ManagementRetention PolicieseDiscoveryAuditInsider Risk ManagementCommunication ComplianceInformation ProtectionDevelop and maintain documentation, including configurations, standards, processes, and operational procedures.
• Support Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI governance initiatives by implementing appropriate compliance and information protection controls.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365 Compliance solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Purview capabilities, including DLP, Information Protection, Sensitivity Labels, Records Management, Retention, eDiscovery, Audit, Insider Risk Management, and Communication Compliance.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical and functional solutions.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders, including IT, Security, Legal, Privacy, and Compliance teams.
• Experience supporting implementation, testing, deployment, and operational adoption of Microsoft Purview capabilities.
• Solid understanding of information governance, compliance, regulatory, and data protection principles.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI governance capabilities is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently in a global, cross-functional environment.
