We’re looking for a talented Backend Engineer to join our engineering team and help build, ship, and operate reliable, scalable backend services. If you enjoy solving complex problems, writing high-quality code, and leveraging modern AI tools to work smarter, we’d love to hear from you.

 

  

Responsibilities 

 

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go and/or Java

  • Build and integrate web APIs using REST and/or gRPC

  • Work with relational databases and design efficient data solutions

  • Ship and operate services in production, taking ownership from development through deployment and monitoring

  • Write automated tests and contribute to a strong CI culture

  • Use AI coding tools such as Cursor and Claude thoughtfully to accelerate development while maintaining code quality, ownership, and sound engineering judgment.Collaborate with other engineers to build reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems.

 

  

Requirements 

 

  • Up to 2 years of experience building backend services in Go and/or Java, with strong production experience in at least one

  • Solid understanding of web APIs (REST and/or gRPC) and relational databases

  • Experience shipping and operating services in production

  • Comfortable writing automated tests and working with CI

  • Demonstrated ability to use AI coding tools efficiently and deliberately without compromising code quality or engineering judgment

  • Nice to Have:Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD

  • Experience with GitHub Actions.Experience with concurrency or distributed systems
