We are looking for an experienced NPI Planner to join a leading and innovative semiconductor environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the operational execution of NPI activities, managing build schedules, supplier commitments, material readiness, logistics, and engineering inventory.
The position requires close collaboration with foundries, OSATs, engineering teams, laboratories, and global suppliers to ensure successful and timely execution of silicon programs.
This is a full-time position in Haifa
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain NPI build schedules across foundries, OSATs, and engineering labs.
- Translate silicon program milestones into detailed material and component requirements.
- Track progress throughout the semiconductor lifecycle, including Wafer Fab, Wafer Sort, Assembly, Final Test, and System Level Test (SLT).
- Work closely with foundries and OSATs to track capacity commitments, including wafers, substrates, and packaged units.
- Identify critical material shortages and supply risks, drive expedites, and support resolution of supply-chain bottlenecks.
- Track engineering silicon lots and test hardware across laboratories and partner sites.
- Manage and reconcile inventory of silicon components, loadboards, test fixtures, and related engineering hardware.
- Coordinate international shipments between suppliers and engineering teams, including customs clearance and import/export compliance.
- Track high-priority shipments and manage reverse logistics and RMA processes for defective parts.
- Maintain material-readiness dashboards, allocation reports, inventory tracking tools, and risk logs.
- Provide regular visibility and status updates regarding material availability, supplier commitments, inventory, and operational risks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in semiconductor NPI supply chain, planning, logistics, or operational execution.
- Strong understanding of the semiconductor lifecycle: Wafer Fab- Wafer Sort - Assembly- Final Test -SLT.
- Experience working with foundries and OSATs and managing supplier commitments and delivery schedules.
- Experience in material planning, shortage management, inventory control, and supply-chain execution.
- Experience managing international logistics, shipments, customs clearance, and RMA processes.
- Hardware familiarity, including understanding of Loadboards, Probe Cards, Sockets, and semiconductor testing environments.
- Ability to identify operational risks, manage multiple priorities, and drive execution across global and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High level of English – written and spoken.
