23847 - QA Group Manager

We are looking for an experienced  Head of QA - UAV Systems.
In this role, you provide professional and managerial leadership of the QA and integration domain for complex, multidisciplinary UAV systems. The role carries end-to-end responsibility for product quality — from architecture and design phases, through integration lab management, to full synchronization with field trials and engineering teams.

This position involves close collaboration with executive leadership, systems engineering leads, R&D teams, technicians, and field ops.

This is a full-time position in Haifa

Responsibilities:

• QA Leadership & Management: End-to-end ownership of integration and testing processes for multi-permutation product lines in complex operational environments.
• Lab Operation & Management: Daily oversight and prioritization of integration labs, resolving hardware bottlenecks, and maintaining continuous coordination between lab testing and field trials.
• Methodology & Engineering Documentation: Establishing standards and leading the creation of comprehensive test documentation (STP, STD, STR) alongside ATP / ATR definitions for standalone and integrated systems.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Working closely in a matrix organization with Systems Engineering leads, Technical Managers, R&D teams, Technicians, and Field Ops to ensure release readiness.
• Innovation & Optimization: Implementing advanced AI tools to automate and optimize test cases, streamline requirements writing, and improve organizational learning cycles.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3–6 years of proven experience leading QA / integration teams for complex systems (strong preference for background in defense, UAVs, electro-optics, or communications).
• Extensive experience in multidisciplinary system-level testing (combining hardware, software, communications, airborne payloads, and ground control stations).
• Hands-on experience operating and managing integration laboratories.
• Full mastery of end-to-end engineering documentation authoring (STP, STD, ATP, ATR).
• Personal Profile- Strong leadership, ability to work under pressure, and effective task management in a fast-paced environment.
• Broad system-level view combined with the ability to dive deep into complex technical details.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a service-oriented mindset across internal interfaces.
• Technical & Managerial Skills- Proven ability to lead cross-functional and matrixed organizational interfaces.
• Familiarity and hands-on experience in Agile / Sprint Planning environments.
• Familiarity with AI tools for test optimization and scenario generation.
• High proficiency in English (written and verbal).
